DAILY WORD – THURSDAY 13 JULY 2006

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the Rock and firm Strength of my heart and my Portion forever.  [Psalm 73:26] 

Anointed not disjointed!

When we rely on our own strengths and abilities life, more often than not, becomes disjointed and just plain hard work. We all too soon find ourselves burnt out and lacking direction or answers. However even in the deepest of trials and darkest of places we have the assurance of God’s strength and portion forever.

So how do we access this divine strength, this promised portion? By surrendering! Surrendering all our own ideas, talents, ambitions, successes and failures, weaknesses and strengths, under the awesome anointing of Almighty God, for it is the anointing that breaks every yoke, that in our own strength, we could never break.  

So today, let go and let God!!!
