DAILY WORD – MONDAY 26 JUNE 2006

 No doubt about it! God is good— good to good people, good to the good-hearted.
 But I nearly missed it, missed seeing his goodness.
 I was looking the other way, looking up to the people at the top,

 [Psalm 73:1-4]

All too often we miss what God is doing in our lives by wasting time looking at what we perceive as being other peoples greater blessings.

Christianity is not about worldly positions or possessions but about relationship! Our relationship with our Lord and Saviour!

It’s about His grace and goodness --- not about our ‘get it’ and ‘got it’ mentality!

If we make the mistake of judging our spirituality by our material possessions and worldly positions we will always be hungry for more, never satisfied, constantly disappointed!

True peace, joy and contentment will only be achieved when we focus on our own relationship with our Heavenly Father, and not on what others have or are doing!

He knows what you need and His love for you will never fail!

Don’t miss Gods goodness today!

Look to the Saviour not the season!
