DAILY WORD FRIDAY JUNE 2, 2006

There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male or female. For you are all Christians – you are ONE in Christ Jesus. [Galatians 3: 28]

Yes, we as Christians should live as one big happy family. All of us are brothers and sisters, for we are the children of God our Father. We need to start treating each other like children of God. We need to stop fighting, gossiping and judging our own brothers and sisters.

We should all be here on this earth for one reason, and one reason only to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. We need to stand together as a family and stand strong for our Lord and Saviour. It doesn’t matter whether you rich or poor, a director or a street sweeper; for we are all ONE in Christ.

Through our faith in Jesus we are adopted into God’s family, and as God’s family we need to start acting like a family. Let’s stop worrying about our fleshly desires and job titles, and rather put our focus and energy into working together as ONE body to lift up the Glorious and powerful name of Jesus Christ!

Let us start acting like true Christians, let’s shower the world with the love of our Heavenly Father.

Follow God – and not the world!
