DAILY WORD – MONDAY 24th APRIL 2006

WHEN YOU OBEY ME YOU ARE LIVING IN MY LOVE, JUST AS I OBEY MY FATHER AND LIVE IN HIS LOVE [John 15:10]

How do we love God? How do we demonstrate our love for Him?

By walking in obedience to His Word!

We can see from the words above spoken by Jesus that love and obedience walk hand in hand, they truly are ‘a marriage made in Heaven’. We know that we are loved by God but there is a difference between being loved by Him and living in His love. Living in His love is life changing!

Our key to living in the love of Jesus today is obedience, being sensitive to the direction of the Holy Spirit and walking in the revelation knowledge of His Word.

And when we walk in His love, we know that peace that surpasses all understanding, that peace and trust that takes us through the worst of life’s storms, bringing us into that safe harbour of victory.

Make the right decision today – obey, and live in His love!
