DAILY WORD – WEDNESDAY 22 MARCH 2006

For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. Ephesians 2:10

GODS MASTERPIECE

God never created us to be just one of a crowd of ‘look-alikes’, but to be totally individual, a masterpiece lovingly fashioned by God while we were still in our mothers wombs. So why do we feel driven to be part of the worlds ‘in- crowd’, one of the ‘beautiful people’; an ultra achiever, successful, powerful, at the top of the ladder etc?

When we buy into this type of deception we spend our lives always feeling that we’re not quite good enough or haven’t done enough, that in some way we are always missing the mark; and this is just the way that our enemy Satan wants us to feel. He will do everything in his power to trap us into the worlds value systems in order to keep us from the truth that each of us is a masterpiece, born with the potential to radiate the Glory of The Living God.

Science, with the discovery of DNA, has proved what Gods Word has been telling us for centuries --- that each of us is wondrously and perfectly made, each uniquely individual with Gods personal signature stamped indelibly in our DNA.

No matter what this world might tell you, your existence is not some random accident, you were not born to muddle through a lifetime of random events with no purpose. No, you have a destiny, planned from the foundation of the world, lovingly and purposely written in the annals of time by the great and mighty Lord of The Universe.

So why don’t we walk in this God given destiny? Because we buy into the lies of greatest of deceivers, Satan. We have chosen to believe what this world tells us instead of what Gods Word tells us. But the good news today is that IN CHRIST we are made anew, reprogrammed, our minds being set free from the lies, renewed into the knowledge of who we are IN CHRIST.

And then, moment by moment, day by day, from glory to glory we become the masterpiece of the greatest artist in all eternity -- The King of Kings, The Lord of Lords, The Almighty God, The Prince of Peace ---- JESUS CHRIST!

YOU ARE HIS MASTERPIECE!
