DAILY WORD – TUESDAY 14 MARCH 2006

DO NOT BE SEIZED WITH ALARM AND STRUCK WITH FEAR, LITTLE FLOCK, FOR IT IS YOUR FATHER’S GOOD PLEASURE TO GIVE YOU THE KINGDOM!  [LUKE 12:32]

Whose report do we believe?

The Israelites were kept in the dessert for 40yrs because they believed the report of giants being in the Promised Land, and were filled with fear!

How often do we allow the enemy to intimidate us in the same way, filling us with fear of the ‘what ifs’ until thoughts of ‘giants’ fill our minds and we are paralyzed into standing still instead of moving forward?

Our God wants to give us the Kingdom, wants to bless us and wants us to grow into the fullness of life in Him!

God has prepared a destiny for us, and will be faithful to get us there!

Satan will quite happily continue to harass us with images of ‘giants’, supposed unsolvable, immovable obstacles, in order to keep us out of our ‘promised land’. What we need to realize is, that these are just images and not truth! Yes the fact is we will have to face difficult times but the truth is, that when we keep our eyes on the Lord and not the situation, God will give us the power to overcome, and He will give us the Kingdom, the rich, abundant life He has prepared for us.

Today believe the report of the Lord and not the world!

Don’t lose sight of Gods promises!
