MY GOD SHALL SUPPLY ALL MY NEEDS ACCORDING TO HIS RICHES IN GLORY!    (PHILIPPIANS 4:19)

DO YOU NEED A SUPERHERO?

The world has, for too long, been allowed to pressurise us into believing that success means being a superman or woman. Our sense of self worth is measured by how many activities we can cram into a day and how much better we can perform alongside others.

Therefore when things start to unravel around us, when we can’t keep up, feel exhausted and stretched beyond ourselves, when the unexpected happens, we lose our jobs or don’t get the promotion we worked so hard for, we automatically buy into the lie that we are failures.

The truth however is that everything we need spiritually, emotionally and physically is ours for the asking, supplied by God according to His riches, Who He Is, and not according to who we are, what we have, or how qualified we are. So why do we still lack? Because sometimes we ask the wrong questions!

We ask why, instead of where ……. ‘Why did this happen’, instead of ‘where do you want me’?

How, instead of help ……..  ‘How do I escape’, instead of ‘help me walk through this’.

When, instead of what ………. ‘When will this be over’, instead of ‘what must I do to rise above

                                                     the circumstances and walk in victory’.

We will never gain victory over the world using the world’s tactics! But we have a secret weapon, a superhero, and His name is Jesus!

EVERYTHING YOU REALLY NEED TODAY IS IN CHRIST JESUS!
