DAILY WORD 14^th FEBUARY 2006

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; He rescues those who are crushed in spirit.

{Psalm 34:18}

Are you feeling troubled, lonely or heartbroken today?

Some days are tough! We as Christians also go through trials and small problems, and are sometimes even overwhelmed by heartache and sorrow. Although we may feel really lost and lonely, we need to remember that God is always with us, He is our loving compassionate Father and He knows when we are feeling down and out! He will never leave us nor forsake us! When you are feeling like ‘no body cares’, remember God does!!!!

“I am holding you by your right hand - I, the Lord your God. And I say to you, do not be afraid. I am here to help you.â€?  (Isaiah 41:13)

My Child.                                                              

My child,

yesterday I was watching you as you went to sit on the beach by yourself.

You were staring into the horizon,

as tears came streaming down your beautiful face;

your body was broken and

your heart was breaking, as you tried smiling through the pain.

My child,

when you decided to leave I followed,

I got into the car with you,

and I sat beside you as you drove home.

I entered your house,

I calmed your heart,

I tucked you into bed,

and I stroked your head as you slept.

My child,

I need you to know that I love you.

I will strengthen you

and I will walk beside you.

Just remember that if you should stumble and fall,

I will be the One lifting you up, and
