DAILY WORD – TUESDAY 31 JANUARY 2006

ANXIETY IN A MAN’S HEART WEIGHS IT DOWN, BUT AN ENCOURAGING WORD MAKES IT GLAD.  (PROVERBS 12:25)

WHO CAN YOU ENCOURAGE TODAY!

Do you need encouragement today? Then find someone to encourage!

Sometimes in the midst of a trial we forget that the Kingdom of God operates on the principle of sowing and reaping. Sometimes the answer we are looking for can be found in the problem itself; for example, if we feel unloved we need to reach out and love someone else; if we feel lonely we should find someone to be-friend.

If you’re afraid that there won’t be enough food for the month, share what you have with someone who is hungry and without food. Look for someone you can bless with the thing you need, for when we adopt the attitude of looking for whom we can bless instead of sitting like young birds in nests with open mouths waiting for someone one to feed (bless) us, that which seemed impossible becomes possible.

Never forget that there is great power in praise, and when we sow towards Heaven, we reap Heavens blessings. God is love, and He is not sitting in Heaven waiting for us to beg for relief. No, rather when we decide, no matter how we feel, to lift our hearts in praise and thanksgiving to God, just because of who He is, His joy and favour is poured out of Heaven into our lives and our day is transformed.

So if you’re feeling heavy hearted today, if it feels like you’re walking through glue, lift you’re heart towards Heaven and you’re hands towards someone you can bless.

EMBRACE ‘THE LIVING WORD’  HE IS YOU’RE WAY, YOU’RE TRUTH AND YOU’RE LIGHT TODAY!

Have an encouraging Tuesday

Much love
