DAILY WORD – WEDNESDAY 11 JANUARY 2006

I KNOW YOU WELL; YOU AREN’T STRONG, BUT YOU HAVE TRIED TO OBEY AND HAVE NOT DENIED MY NAME. THEREFORE I HAVE OPENED A DOOR TO YOU THAT NO ONE CAN SHUT.   (REVELATION 3:8)

Our God doesn’t demand our strength; He doesn’t bless us because of our grand designs and abilities and He doesn’t say ‘what have you got that you can bring to the table today to persuade Me to do business with you’. Our God is not a business partner but a Saviour, and He is the only person who will say ‘come just as you are, you don’t need any strengths or abilities for I will be your strength and ability, I will give you what you need to become everything I have destined you to be today’.

All He asks of us is trust, willingness and commitment! 

He sees when we are trying, with our whole heart, to trust and obey Him, and has promised that He will open a door for us that no man can shut. Make no mistake, when God moves for you there is not a force in Heaven, on earth or in hell that will be able to stand against His plans for your life.

So today be encouraged; don’t look back on past mistakes and disappointments, but continue forward one step at a time, for you do not walk this path alone but have a great and mighty Saviour who is more than able to uphold you today with His mighty right hand, and lead you into victory and joy. His love for you is great and His mercy never ends!

EMBRACE THE ‘LIVING WORD’

BELIEVE ‘THE WORD’ NOT ‘THE WORLD’!
