DAILY WORD – FRIDAY 06 JANUARY 2006

WE NEED HAVE NO FEAR OF SOMEONE WHO LOVES US PERFECTLY; HIS PERFECT LOVE FOR US ELIMINATES ALL DREAD OF WHAT HE MIGHT DO TO US, AND SHOWS THAT WE ARE NOT FULLY CONVINCED THAT HE REALLY LOVES US. SO YOU SEE, OUR LOVE FOR HIM COMES AS A RESULT OF HIS LOVING US FIRST. (1 JOHN 4:18-19)

God is love and His love will never harm us!

He loved us before we even gave Him a thought, no matter where we were or what we were doing.

God hates sin but loves the sinner!

Everything we need, to function today, can be found in the love of God.

It is the desire to be in control of our lives that often hinders the work of God in us.

The need to be in control comes from our disbelief that Gods love operates in us and for us, and creates a fear of the future that many people live with.

Our feelings change on a daily basis, God remains the same; His love and mercy never fails.

Walking in obedience to Gods word no matter how we feel will unlock the windows of Heaven, transform our lives, grow our faith and change our feelings.

He loves us so much that He even promises to give us the faith we need to believe His Word. His love authors and finishes our faith.

God wants our love and trust, not our fear and dread

His love is the only thing that can effectively change our lives.

Let’s stop ‘trying’ to get our lives sorted out by using our own methods, ideas and attempted disciplines. Trust God His love never fails!

BELIEVE -- TRUST IN -- SPEAK -- AND OBEY -- ‘THE WORD’

NOT – ‘THE WORLD’!
