DAILY WORD – WEDNESDAY 04 JANUARY 2006

SO THERE IS NOW NO CONDEMNATION AWAITING THOSE WHO BELONG TO CHRIST JESUS. (ROMANS 8:1)

Satan condemns the Holy Spirit convicts!

Condemnation causes us to run and hide, conviction causes us to run into the arms of a loving God.

It is the lack of knowledge of the difference between conviction and condemnation that causes many precious children of God to want to just give up on their Christian walk.

Feelings of never being able to get it right and not being good enough for God are all signs of the spirit of condemnation working its devilish lies in our lives. The interesting point in this, is that Satan always uses an element of truth to trap us in his lies; he ‘twists’ the truth to cause us pain and hopelessness. In fact the word ‘witchcraft’ is derived from the word ‘Wicca’ which basically means to twist.

Condemnation never comes from the throne room of God!

Yes, the truth is that in our unsaved state, none of us are ‘good enough’ for God, but now when we walk in the magnitude of His Saving Grace, we are continually being made ‘new creations’ in Christ Jesus, and not in our own abilities or understandings. It is His grace and power that changes us and not our ‘works’ (our own attempts at changing ourselves). The victories we so long for are to be found in ‘relationship’ not ‘works’.

Conviction is the move of the Loving Heart of God upon our lives. Conviction gently speaks to our hearts helping us to recognize the things in our lives that are holding us back from a more intimate relationship with the Lord. Conviction from God says ‘come to Me and let Me remove those things from your life. Let Me give you My strength to overcome, let My love change you.

Conviction never condemns!

Conviction sets us free, condemnation kills!

EMBRACE THE ‘LIVING WORD’ NOT THE LIES OF THE DEVIL

BELIEVE ‘THE WORD’ NOT THE ‘WORLD’!
