DAILY WORD – FRIDAY 09 DECEMBER 2005

THE SIN OF THIS ONE MAN ADAM, CAUSED DEATH TO BE KING OVER ALL, BUT ALL WHO WILL TAKE GOD’S GIFT OF FORGIVENESS AND AQUITTAL ARE KINGS OF LIFE BECAUSE OF THIS ONE MAN JESUS CHRIST. YES ADAM’S SIN BOUGHT PUNISHMENT TO ALL, BUT CHRIST’S RIGHTEOUSNESS MAKES MEN RIGHT WITH GOD, SO THEY CAN LIVE. (ROMANS 5:17-18)

Because of Christ’s righteousness we can be kings of life today. Because He died for us we can live in victory, no matter what our circumstances or challenges. 

True success is not measured by the lack of difficult times and situations; no true success is achieved, when we can praise and glorify our God, in the midst of the battle, knowing in our hearts that He has promised His victory and that He does not lie.

Being ‘kings of life’ is knowing ‘Christ in us the hope of glory’; knowing because He lives in us, right now, today, everything we need, to overcome, is within us and that if we would just believe with our hearts, and open our mouths and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord of this day and everything in it, we will be saved.

Gods Word calls us ‘kings of life’ not ‘broken beggars’, and yet all too often we come to God with a begging attitude, hoping for the crumbs of Gods favour, when the Word tells us that we can come boldly into His throne room. Boldly, because He is our Heavenly Father and loves us, and desires to bless us.

If we will only believe in our hearts, and confess with our mouths, that Jesus Christ is Lord of our lives today, we will be ‘kings of life’ today.

We can’t see the future but we can say the future. Don’t agree with the enemy today, agree with God!

BELIEVE, TRUST IN, SPEAK, AND OBEY ‘THE WORD’

NOT THE ‘WORLD’!
