DAILY WORD – TUESDAY 18 OCTOBER 2005 FOR JEHOVAH GOD IS OUR LIGHT AND OUR PROTECTOR. HE GIVES TODAY---- He lights our path Protects us Gives us grace Gives us glory Gives us every good thing WHEN ----- We walk along His paths. This is such a wonderful promise for every one of us, and God doesn’t play favourites, He loves each of us equally. His desire is to prosper us in every circumstance, on the hilltops and in the valleys. He will turn our mourning into joy; He will give us beauty for ashes. What we need to understand is that He has set a path before us, a path designed by His majestic hand. He hasn’t promised that this path will be free of trials, but He has promised that when we struggle and are weak, He will be our strength. If we can just learn to embrace the valleys with as much faith and trust that we embrace the hilltops, then we will know ‘the joy of the Lord’ even in the hard places. He lights our paths ---- so therefore we need never fear dark times He protects us ------ from every work of the enemy He gives us grace ----- to walk in love, truth and mercy He gives us glory ---- to shine His powerful presence into the world around us He gives us every good thing ------ because He loves us, and we desire to walk in His ways. Remember today: We have to walk in the right direction to reach the right destination! Have a Christ led Tuesday.
