DAILY WORD – FRIDAY 14 OCTOBER 2005

FOR YOU SHALL GO OUT [FROM THE SPIRITUAL EXILE CAUSED BY SIN AND EVIL INTO THE HOMELAND] WITH JOY AND BE LED FORTH [BY YOUR LEADER THE LORD HIMSELF, AND HIS WORD] WITH PEACE; THE MOUNTAINS AND THE HILLS SHALL BREAK FORTH BEFORE YOU INTO SINGING, AND ALL THE TREES OF THE FIELDS SHALL CLAP THEIR HANDS (ISAIAH 55:12)

WOW! What a wonderful promise!

As I pondered on this scripture, I realized how true it is. Just think about the days when we are in tune with the Lord, everything around us takes on a different appearance. Suddenly the trees seem greener, the sky bluer, the air smells fresher and we have an overall sense of the world and the day embracing our joy.

God created the world with all its life and beauty for man. A place of peace and pleasure, a place where man could walk in the cool of the day with his maker. This pleasure and joy was only lost when man was deceived into giving his authority over the world to Satan, only then did the world become a harsh and cruel environment.

But today we can, once again, stand in the presence of our maker with all that glorious relationship and authority restored. Not because of anything we have or haven’t done, but because of the shed blood of our Lord Jesus Christ and what He did for us.

His shed blood leads us out of the destructive force of sin into the ‘homeland’ of His presence, and by the power of the Holy Spirit and the living Word of God, we are led with peace (no matter what the circumstances) into our destiny.

Today, in the presence of the Lord there is joy and peace.  In thought, word and deed!

Today, we are saved, healed and delivered! And as we face this day with praise and thanksgiving in our hearts, we will know the joy of all of Gods creation rejoicing with us.

Remember today:  JESUS OVERCAME THE WORLD FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!
