DAILY WORD – MONDAY 15 AUGUST 2005

IF YOU BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART AND CONFESS WITH YOUR MOUTH THAT JESUS CHRIST IS LORD YOU SHALL BE SAVED.  (ROMANS 10:9)

What is Jesus Lord of in your life today?

Confess that He is Lord over every area of your life.

Lord of your food supply, your bank acc, your spending, your tithe etc. – therefore you are saved from poverty.

Lord of your body – saved from the enemies’ attacks against your health.

Lord of your mind – saved from negative thoughts, torment, anxiety, fear.

Lord of your circumstances – saved from every plan Satan has to defeat you.

Lord of your mouth --- saved from negative speech, free to declare Gods Word.

So many times, we speak negatively without even thinking. We receive an unexpected bill and say ‘I haven’t got the money to pay this.’ We feel a little ‘off colour’ and say ‘I think I’m getting flu’. We feel threatened by a person or situation and say ‘ I’m so afraid’.

How many times do we thoughtlessly say ‘this is going to drive me mad’?

Let’s take up the challenge, this week, to put a guard at our mouths and declare, “Jesus is Lord of ------- “.

Remember today:  LIFE AND DEATH ARE IN THE POWER OF THE TONGUE; SPEAK LIFE.
