DAILY WORD – WEDNESDAY 10 AUGUST 2005

HE SENT HIS WORD AND HEALED THEM  (PSALM 107:20)

The Word of God heals us, heals us completely, body, mind, soul and spirit. But, it is not the written word that heals, but the spoken word. The spoken promises of God. The Word, believed, taken into our hearts, spoken and empowered by the Holy Spirit at work within us.

Our healing is in our hands. We have the choice, the choice to remain silent or to open our mouths and declare Gods Word over our world.

God sent His Word to heal us. There’s no perhaps or maybes, no ‘if your good enough or talented enough or religious enough’. No!  He sent His Word and healed us.

Today there’s healing in the Word of God for each of us. He has laid the table before us, even in the presence of our enemies, a table full of the bread of life, the living Word of God.

Take and eat, and know that the Lord is good and His mercies endure forever.

Remember today:  LIFE AND DEATH ARE IN THE POWER OF THE TONGUE; SPEAK LIFE.
