Think out of the Box
It is time for our next Brain Gym gathering on the 22-10-2011, NGK in Linden..
The theme is "Think out of the box."
The gathering is open to everybody! The aim of this gathering is to inspire you to think differently about sexuality, prisons and where you can take Brain GymŪ . We also want to share with you exciting information on how the cranial sacral alignment affects our memory. We will round a great day off with a group balance, that will ensure that you go home as a changed person.
We have the following program lined up for you:
Dr. Etienne Kok, Creating Sexual Health Since the 60's our attitudes towards sex have changed drastically. The pendulum as swung the other way. How can we find a healthy attitude towards sex that is balanced. Etienne Kok is sexual health physician - sex therapist - sexuality educator and marriage counselor. He will be sharing with us, what changes in perspectives and attitudes we need in order to create sexual health for ourselves, our children and clients.
Bring your friends and family members to listen to this arousing talk
Gabby Fels, Prison Break, ground breaking work with inmates. We all want an increase in safety and security in South Africa. Locking criminals away is only a temporary solution. They are going to be released one day. If we want ex-prisoners to change their ways, they need to be rehabilitated and taught new life skills.
Gabby Fels, Kinesiologists and Brain Gym practitioner has been working in Leeuwkop maximum security prison since 2006. She has found that the inmates are very stressed. This causes them to be unable to concentrate, communicate and the aggression levels are high. Gabby first works with de-stressing them using Brain Gym and other Kinesiology techniques. She also teaches them life-skills, so that prisoners actually start looking forward to starting a new honest life outside the prison walls.
Gabby has written a book called "Healing in a maximum Security Prison - Life skills and Kinesiology handbook" the special gathering price is R180.00 (normal price is R220.00) You can read more about the book on www.prisonbook.co.za
Judith Nel When we think of Brain Gym, most of us think about working with children and in other soft sectors of our society. Judith has managed to take Brain Gym in to business. She has worked with the NPA, National Parks board and more. Let her inspire us to think out of the box on how we can take Brain Gym to new places.
Lindie Saayman Lindie is a Brain Gym practitioner, Kinesiologist and Chiropractor. She is one of the most knowledgeable people I know regarding the structure of the human body. She will be sharing with us how our posture affects the sacrum, which in turn effects the cranial nerves, which effects our memory.
Hanna Kok, Rounding it off I, Hanna Kok will be closing the conference. I will share with you some of the things have learnt at the Brain Gym International Gathering. We will also do a group balance to integrate all the new information we have learnt so that we can continue thinking out of the box. In the Group balance I will show you an exciting variation of Dennison's Laterality Repatterning.
The cost of the Gathering is R300.00. If you want to listen to only one of the speakers, then it is R200.00. (so you might as well come for the whole day!)
