Baby Boomers Challenge Tommorows Healthcare System.

Who are the Baby boomers and why are they affecting the economy??

Baby boomers where born from 1 January 1946 till 31 December 1964.
In this period a total of 76-Million babies where born in the USA alone with out counting any births from
Africa, Australia, Europe, UK, or Asia.

As of 2010 - 2020 the boomers are going to create the largest market for health nutrition products ever known in the world.
Their children will range in age from 24yrs till 40yrs of age creating again the second wave of nutrition hungry consumers the world over.

From the above we can see that the future of all economies will be severly challenged with the baby boom generation and its effects.
Below is a outlay of what they have done so far and what to expect,

Baby Products (Food, Nappies, Toys)
From 1946 till 1966 the baby boomers caused a rise in baby products worldwide. The first boomer now being 20yrs old and the last only 2yrs old.

Motor and fast food industry (Rock & Roll Music, Fast Cars, Fast Food)
The boomers impacted this industry from 1966 until 1984 from this first one turned 20 till the last one and even longer maybe 1994.

HOUSING:
When the first boomer started looking at buying a house at say age 22 the housing and building industries exploded from 1968 all the way until 2000.

Now all the boomers have their Homes, Cars and Careers.

Communication: (Computers, Cellphones, Digital Cameras etc , etc, )
Technology products created markets such as the cellphone markets where vodacom,mtn,cell c, virgin mobile
