TOWEL PRICES WILL INCREASE ON 11 MARCH 2011
It is generally understood that the cotton market has been volatile over the
past few months with yarn prices escalating dramatically.
In November 2010, we were forced to review our price structure and
implement a 10% increase from 1 December. The price of yarn was US Cents 155
per lb, but subsequently, this level has moved to 225 US cents at the end of
February 2011 - an increase of 45%. Due to these circumstances, a further increase in
the our towel & toweling ranges is unavoidable.
The Pool Poncho has already taken a knock, but it unfortunately, we cannot continue on the
existing price structure.
Regrettably, we are increasing our prices as from 11 March 2011. The Pool Poncho is doing their utmost to cope with the acute international yarn shortage and their primary objective is to continue to offer the service they have we have in the past.
For the above reasons, we have experienced some delays in our delivery times. But would to assure you that we have everything under control and will endeavour to keep our production times as short as possible.
Any orders placed before the 11 March 2011, will have the benefit of paying presesnt prices, but please bare in mind that we do make all our orders to our clients exact specifications, so delivery will still be 2 to 3 weeks.
