Description of Festival
Samhain (pronounced Sowen) is the last of the
three harvest festivals and is considered the beginning of the Pagan year. Other
names for the festival include Halloween, Shadowfest, Martinmas and Old Hallowmas.
At this festival we honour the dead and those that have passed on. This is also
the time when the veils between worlds are the thinest and divination's for the year are
also done at this time.
What you need to bring:
- Mementoes/photographs
of people who have passed over for the Ancestral Altar.
- A small black
candle (I will have extra for sale on the evening if you forget)
- Your
own drinks and a plate of eats for the feast table
- Two Yes/No questions
to ask the Oracle
