Information on a Personal Breakthrough Session with Choice Life Coaching Date: 04/06/10   Time: 8:42 PM

I offer a unique opportunity to selected clients that is called a Personal Breakthrough Session.  In short this session is designed in such a way that it will help you to let go of ALL your baggage and issues, transforming your life and opening new opportunities for you to start living the life you want.  In the session we deal with various negative emotions like anger, sadness, fear, hurt and guilt. We also work with limiting beliefs/decisions, anxiety, phobias, inner conflict an so much more. You will learn how to take control your life in a way that you want to, and this alone will make a huge difference in your life. I will also teach you how to set goals in the most SMART way in order for you to always reach your goals, no matter what they are. All in all this will be the most empowering and life changing experience you will have in your life so far.

You will prior to the session receive a pre-session reading and exercise workbook, that you will have to read and complete before we schedule the first session. This is only to give you a bit of background of how you were created and what you are capable of. The exercises will also start giving you an idea of how your mind has been programmed so far, and which areas in your life you need to focus on. During the session we will look back at your answers to the exercises and then you can make a decision of how you want to change them.

The session consist of various techniques that is outlined below.

Neuro Linguistic Programming

 

Neuro – Referring to the nerve cells that are stimulated by your external environment and the internal thought process and emotions.

Linguistic – Refers to how you communicate, both verbally and non-verbally.

Programming – Refers to the way you act, based on your thought patterns and emotional state.

 

In essence, NLP can be described as the fundamental dynamics between your Mind (Neuro) and your Language (Linguistic) and how their collaboration affects your body and your Behaviour (Programming).

 

NLP is the study of excellence in yourself and seeks to educate you in self-awareness and effective communication, and to change your patterns of mental and emotional behaviour into states that benefit you more positively and successfully. NLP treats the root of many dis-eases and imbalances by transforming your mind. This causes a healing ripple effect throughout your entire physical body.

 

Time Paradigm

 

As one of the prime directives of your unconscious mind, your unconscious mind stores memories using your Time Line, meaning it uses a time line to store memories sequentially, so you can know the difference between events that have happened last month, five years ago, ten years ago, etc. Time Paradigm Techniques is based upon discovering how you store and interact with your time.

 

Deleting Negative Emotions, Limiting Decisions and Limiting Beliefs

 

Negative emotions sap your energy and undermine your effectiveness. In the negative emotional state, you find the lack of desire to do anything. Your mind is filled with thoughts of fear, doubts and insecurities. Your body experiences fatigue, tightness and muscle tension (stress!). Notice that your negative emotions arise when you respond to something, attach a meaning to it, and picture it in your mind. You add power to it by using words like anger, sadness, fear, guilt, hurt, etc. to label and describe the situation or emotion. You then experience the sensation and respond accordingly, as you always have unconsciously.

 

The fact is that negative emotions hurt your body. Each negative emotion can contribute to the following health problems:

 

Anger – Heart Attack, Heightened Cholesterol

Sadness – Weakened Immune System, Depression

Fear – Excessive Stress, PTSD, Phobia

Guilt – Lowered Healing Energy

Conflict – Cancer

 

 Hypnotherapy

 

Thanks to Hollywood, Hypnotherapy and Hypnosis has been completely over rated and been exposed in a very negative context. The truth is that Hypnosis is a natural state where you feel increasing levels of relaxation. Kind of when you are in a trance/relaxed while watching your favourite movie or programme, or listening to your favourite kind of music, you totally relax your mind and body, almost into the same state as just before you wake up or go to sleep, totally relaxed in a trance.

 

The reason why hypnosis are done during your session is because it relaxes your mind and body, it allows your mind and body to make all the connection that need to be made at the unconscious level, which speeds up the healing process of releasing negative emotions, limiting decisions and limiting beliefs.

 

A Personal Breakthrough Session will be scheduled for one whole day, and depending on each individual's needs, will be between 5 and 10 hours long. We will take a look at the outcomes you want, your personal history and will then start with the techniques as outlined above. At the end of the  session we will also do SMART goals setting which will help set the pace for the life that you want to live.

 

The session will be held at my home office in Brakpan .I offer payment options for those individuals who really want to make a change in their life's. Why are we not organized? Date: 08/19/09   Time: 12:18 PM

People have many reasons why they are not organized.

Imagine this:

It’s six o’clock in the morning, the kids are moaning and stubbornly refusing to get out of bed, you feel as if you could strangle them, knowing in the back of your head that you have that ever  important Monday morning meeting to attend, and still have to do you make up and hair. You scramble around for school bags, and the youngest ones teddy that he insists goes to school with him today, and before you know it ,it is half past seven, and you can already imagine your red face as you walk into the dreaded Monday morning meeting late again!

Sounds familiar? Who can tell me in what mood you would walk into the office this morning, and in what mood, do you go home that night? Also imagine what the house looks like when you get home? Clothes flung out of the closet – this happened when you where looking for teddy. Toothpaste all over the bathroom basin – this happened because you couldn’t help boetie to brush his teeth, - you had to do your hair and make-up!

Now I want to know this.

Do we not know that the kids have to go to school tomorrow? That they will need their school bags? That we have to do our hair and make-up and that it can take up to half an hour to do?

Let’s ask oursevles – what excuses do we use to let ourselves go through such hell every day?

  • I don’t have time to be prepared?
  • I have to do everything on my own?
  • I don’t have money to be organized?
  • I don’t know what to do?

In today’s world almost everybody has a hectic schedule, whether you are working full time, half day or staying at home, if you do not plan your time, you will not have enough of it! Let’s repeat this: if you want to have more time, you need to plan your time. Silly thing you might think but let me show you what it is costing you on emotional, and financial level if you do not plan your time properly.

If we look at the scenario that I have described earlier, I don’t have to say much on the emotion side of it, do I. Your stress levels go up, your kids start to hate getting up in the morning, because it is stressful to them as well. You feel incompetent because you cannot make it to work in time, and this feeling carries through the day, and goes back home with you as well.

Believe it or not, but this is also costing you financially, at work and at home. How many bosses do you think will consider giving an increase or a promotion, to someone that is always late for work, or someone that is always in a bad mood at work? Chances are that if you are not organized at home, you will not be organized at the office either. A recent study in the UK has shown that 80% of all office workers with cluttered desks will NOT receive promotions EVER! Scary stuff hey!

How long does it take you to find important documents at work/home?

2 minutes, 5 minutes, maybe 10 minutes or an hour? Say we are not only taking about documents here. What about that no 10 spanner, your favorite pair of earrings or the scissors? If we could say that you were paid by the hour and for calculations sake you were earning a salary of R100 per hour, plus you then used +- 1 hour a day looking for things, it would mean that R100 of you salary a day would be wasted. This calculates to R3000 a month! Certainly not something that I would accept in the times we are going through today, don’t you agree!

Life Lessons Learned Date: 07/01/09   Time: 12:09 PM

A bit of info I have to share…….

My newsletter theme for this month is goals and achievements, and today I feel I must share one of my life lessons learned, or let’s say I am still busy learning.

I have spent the last three month working really hard to set up a website and to start marketing my business. I have made lists of goals that I wish to achieve and broke that down into small step by step “plans” in how to achieve those goals.

Let me be honest. It is not easy! I cannot tell you how many obstacles I had to face this last few weeks. Money obstacles, time obstacles, motivation obstacles… The list goes on and on.  I kept on reading that what you put in is what you get out, and I did not see any movement – Nothing – Zip-Zero!

Then I woke up this morning and realized the words my dad use to tell me. He always said – “Ones” upon a time – do one thing at a time.

 I got so involved in creating forums, blogs, e-mail responders, newsletters etc, I totally forgot the basics. I expected too much too soon, and it dragged me down.

The same rule applies to organizing your life, time and home. Do one thing at a time. Do not get discouraged if you cannot see results immediately; just keep on doing your step by step plans. One day you will get up and realize that it was not done in vain.

So yes, set your goals, do your planning and keep on track – the results will be seen!

 The word “clutter” if looked up in a dictionary means “ a confused multitude of things.” These confused multitudes, stacks, disaster areas, call it what you want in today's world are the leading cause of stress and unhappiness at home.

Clutter can destroy your self-esteem, your relationships and can even contribute to financial problems.

It is so easy to say that this will never happen to you, but unfortunately people do not realize how quickly this can creep up on you.

One of the main characteristic of clutter is the fact that clutter causes more clutter, - before you know it, you are sitting with a situation on your hands, that seems to be to overwhelming to address.

There are different reasons for people to become trapped in clutter, one of the most common reasons being unable to let go of stuff.  Other reasons include, that you feel overwhelmed, you do not know where to start, what to keep and what to let go of.

Clutter is  not only something that happens at home, it is common in offices too. Being cluttered and disorganized at work will most definitely have a negative effect on your work performance and might even influence your colleagues.  Studies have also shown that people with cluttered desks are less likely to be promoted.

What a vicious circle!

Clutter leads to clutter, which leads to unhappiness and unnecessary stress, it makes you unsociable ,  also leads to unsatisfying work performance, which give you no chance to a promotion or an increase, which again causes stress at home, this can go on and on and on.

So yes, let us cut to the chase and make a decision today to work on those cluttered areas in our life’s, to sort it out and to not let it in our life’s again.

It can only mean a more fulfilling life for us all.
